Unscroll has built a platform that provides screen time awareness tools, social media feed aggregation, and mindful scrolling features to users worldwide.
You agree to our Terms of Service ("Terms") by installing or using our apps, services, or website (together, "Services").
About our services
Age Requirement. You must be at least 16 years old to use our Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
Account Registration. To create an account you may be required to register using your email address or sign in with Apple. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Screen Time Permissions. Our Services require access to iOS Screen Time APIs to function properly. You must grant these permissions during onboarding. We request these permissions to enable screen time tracking features, but we do not access your full Screen Time data. You can revoke these permissions at any time through iOS Settings, though this will limit app functionality.
Privacy of user data. Unscroll does not sell, rent or monetize your personal data or content in any way and never will.
Unscroll takes privacy seriously and does not use or share your personal data or content with any party except in order to provide and improve our Services. However, you understand that Unscroll is not designed for posting or communicating private information and your content may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks.
Data Backup. We automatically backup your app data (including your settings, preferences, and usage statistics) to our servers to enable data recovery and sync across your devices. This backup occurs periodically without manual intervention. Your backed-up data is stored securely and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Software. In order to enable new features and enhanced functionality, you consent to downloading and installing updates to our Services.
Fees and Taxes. You are responsible for data and mobile carrier fees and taxes associated with the devices on which you use our Services.
In-App Browser
Our Services include an in-app browser that allows you to access third-party social media platforms and websites. When you use the in-app browser to access third-party services, those services' terms of use and privacy policies apply to your use of those services, not ours.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites accessed through our in-app browser. You access third-party content at your own risk.
The in-app browser may include timers and awareness features that overlay on third-party content. These features are part of our Services and subject to these Terms.
Using Unscroll
Our Terms and Policies. You must use our Services according to our Terms and posted policies. If we disable your account for a violation of our Terms, you will not create another account without our permission.
Legal and Acceptable Use. You agree to use our Services only for legal, authorized, and acceptable purposes. You will not: reverse engineer the app; attempt to access Screen Time data of other users; use the service to violate third-party platform terms; or scrape or automate use of the Services.
Harm to Unscroll. You must not (or assist others to) access, use, modify, distribute, transfer, or exploit our Services in unauthorized manners, or in ways that harm Unscroll, our Services, or systems.
Keeping Your Sensitive Data Secure. Unscroll is a personal productivity tool. Any data you enter or content you view through the Services should be treated according to the privacy practices of the underlying platforms you access.
Third-party services. Our Services may allow you to access, use, or interact with third-party websites, apps, content, and other products and services. When you use third-party services, their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services.
Your Rights and License with Unscroll
Your Rights. You own your personal data and Screen Time information. You must have the rights to any authentication method (email address or Apple ID) you use to sign up for your Unscroll account.
Unscroll's Rights. We own all copyrights, trademarks, domains, logos, trade dress, trade secrets, patents, and other intellectual property rights associated with our Services. You may not use our copyrights, trademarks, domains, logos, trade dress, patents, and other intellectual property rights unless you have our written permission. To report copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property infringement, please contact us.
Unscroll's License to You. Unscroll grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use our Services in accordance with these Terms.
Disclaimers and Limitations
Disclaimers. YOU USE OUR SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK AND SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING DISCLAIMERS. WE PROVIDE OUR SERVICES ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. UNSCROLL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY US IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR USEFUL, THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE OPERATIONAL, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR SAFE. WE PROVIDE SCREEN TIME AWARENESS TOOLS AND ACCESS TO THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS VIA OUR IN-APP BROWSER. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR USAGE DECISIONS, THE ACCURACY OF SCREEN TIME ESTIMATES, OR THE CONTENT OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES YOU ACCESS THROUGH THE APP. YOU RELEASE US FROM ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THIRD PARTIES.
Limitation of liability. THE UNSCROLL PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOST PROFITS OR CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INDIRECT, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Availability of Our Services. Our Services may be interrupted, including for maintenance, upgrades, or network or equipment failures. We may discontinue some or all of our Services at any time.
Resolving Disputes and Ending Terms
Resolving disputes. You agree to resolve any Claim you have with us relating to or arising out of our Terms, us, or our Services exclusively in the Australian Federal Circuit Court or a state court in Sydney, Australia. The Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Ending these Terms. You may end these Terms with Unscroll at any time by deleting Unscroll from your device and discontinuing use of our Services. We may modify, suspend, or terminate your access to or use of our Services anytime for any reason.
Apple App Store
If you download Unscroll from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Unscroll only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. In the event of any failure to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple for a refund, and Apple will have no other warranty obligation.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not on any U.S. Government prohibited parties list.
General
Unscroll may update the Terms from time to time. When we update our Terms, we will update the "Last Modified" date. Your continued use of our Services confirms your acceptance of our updated Terms. If you have specific questions about these Terms, please contact us.
